Footwear Pty Ltd trading as Nine West Product Info: This recall relates to ALL models of Riviera sunglasses sold between 1 January 2007 and 13 December 2007 EXCEPT for models NW1110312, NW1210832 and NW1610378 (the model number can be found on the inside arm of the sunglasses). In particular, this recall INCLUDES the following models: NW1210827 NW1110144 NW1210399 NW1110143 NW1210812 Defect Details: Tests have revealed that the sunglasses subject to this recall do not meet the lens performance requirements of the mandatory Australian safety standard for sunglasses and fashion spectacles (AS/NZS 1067:2003). They also failed to meet the labelling requirements of the standard. Consumer Action Customers are asked to immediately stop using these sunglasses when driving as their ability to recognise blue and green LED lights such as those used by emergency vehicles and in traffic signals may be impaired. Their ability to judge the distance of moving objects may also be affected. Customers may return the sunglasses for a full refund to any Nine West retail store or by mail (all postage charges will be refunded) to: J. L.
